Planning your Flowers for Your Wedding: the Nuts & Bolts

We totally get it; you don’t know where to begin, you know nothing about flowers for weddings, you’re feeling overwhelmed by all the decisions…. Sound familiar? Don’t worry, you’re in good hands.

The process

1.
connect

Firstly, get in touch to check availability for your wedding date and book a consultation call. After an initial consultation call, we will send you a quick summary quote based on the elements discussed. If you are happy to proceed, secure your date with a signed contract and €200 deposit.



2.
collaborate

Together, we create a floral proposal based on our initial ideas, your wedding style, venue, budget and season. As your planning progresses, we can tweak the design as needed, using your colours and inspiration photos as a guide. We check in again about 4-6 weeks prior to the wedding to finalise any last details. Final payment is due 2 weeks prior to the wedding.


3.
create

Your wedding week is when the real magic unfolds. Blooms arrive from our trusted local growers and Dutch suppliers, each stem carefully prepared and arranged in our signature garden-gathered style. On the morning of your wedding, we deliver and style every detail, then return the next day to collect our vases and candleholders — the flowers are yours to take away with you if you wish.

Flowers set the tone for your wedding and leave a lasting impression, but many couples are surprised by how much they can cost. That price reflects more than just the blooms—it includes design planning, sourcing, logistics, several days prep before the wedding, and installation. From selecting the right varieties to conditioning, transport, and setup, every detail requires expertise and precision. Whether you’re dreaming of simple stems or lush arrangements, knowing what to expect helps you plan wisely. At our initial consultation, we’ll walk you through how to budget for florals, where to save without losing impact, and how to get the most beauty for your investment. We always aim to restyle ceremony flowers for the reception whenever possible to maximise the value of your flowers. We have just a few dates left for 2026 and the 2027 diary is now open. Don’t worry about being too early, our diary fills up fast! Our minimum order amount is €2,500 for a mid-week date and €5,000 for a weekend date. This is because we take a limited number of bookings every year in order to maintain our high standards of quality and attention to detail.
