elegant spring florals with old hollywood vibes At Ashley park: Aoife & Andrew
When the bride is a wedding planner and stylist herself, you know every magnificent detail will be perfection!

This was one of those very special (and also infrequent!) weddings where I find myself both a supplier and a wedding guest. My good friend and wedding planner/stylist extraordinaire, Aoife from Blue Blossom Creative married her beau, Andrew in his native Birdhill, Co Tipperary in the sweetest little church called Our Lady of the Wayside. It’s always a pleasure to work with Aoife but we really had fun planning the flowers and the colour palette for her own wedding. We brainstormed for hours over many cups of tea and many packets of biscuits, curating the perfect palette- crisp white, soft bridging tones of nude, mauve and lilac, leading us into strong accents of burgundy for a seriously stylish look. Our elegant Spring florals, coupled with the moody photographic style of photographer Ryan Devereux, we were really feeling the old hollywood vibes here.
The church was small and sweet so we made the altar the focal point with a beautiful draping altar garland, inspired by lush, romantic florals more at home in a chapel in some tiny Italian village rather than a rural parish church in Tipperary but it was exactly what the space needed. We added large meadow arrangements to punctuate the beginning of the aisle and a pair of romantic trailing urn arrangements outside, brimming with Spring flowers and blossom branches.
After the ceremony, guests made their way to Ashley Park House where the string quartet and the warm afternoon Spring sunshine gave the whole drinks reception some serious Bridgerton vibes. Once inside, we hung greenery chandeliers with flickering glass globes and the tables were decorated with minimalist abundant florals with elegant pale pink and taupe Ester & Erik candles.
